I know not everyone has positive views on MLMs or on Lularoe, but I promise it's not all garish prints and stretchy pants. This button-up (the Valentina) is a surprise hit with me. Comfortable, stretchy, and doesn't wrinkle, even after I literally slept in it! (That photo on the right is me after sleeping in it)
Office appropriate? Check.
Casually chic? Check.
Glorified pajamas? Check.
As I'm 36 years old, I don't necessarily want to resort to t-shirts all the time when I'm dressing casually. For me personally, as a mom of 4, I think elevating my style and taking it up just a notch, helps me look less frumpy and less sloppy. Button-ups can still be just as comfortable as a t-shirt, but not make me look like a sleep-deprived college kid who is barely hanging on to her sanity and is one coffee away from passing her midterms. That grungey sloppy college look is waaaaaaay less cute on us middle-aged-moms. We just end up looking like a People of WalMart meme.
You want a shirt like this. It feels like wearing pajamas in public but still being office-appropriate. There is no downside here. (Once again, mine is the Valentina by Lularoe if you want the exact style I have. You probably have like 40 friends who sell this, so it shouldn't be a problem finding someone, but you can join my friend Meghan's group if you like irreverent humor and getting a good deal, right HERE.)
