As far as selling to ThredUp, it's fine if you just want your clothes out of your house, period, at any price... but you have to be okay with getting payouts $0.10 at a time for anything that isn't designer. (I just donate instead and take the tax write-off). Anything I have that is designer or name-brand, I tend to sell on Poshmark, or sell it to Material World (who is surprisingly generous with their payments for my clothing, and I love getting their style boxes! You can check out Box 1, Box 2, Box 3, and Box 4.)
But those are the fun pieces I have added to my wardrobe to replace things I no longer wear or have worn out. Unfortunately, when you have a capsule wardrobe, your clothes take way more of a beating since you're wearing the same pieces more often.
Obviously I recorded this prior to vacation, and I know it's not Friday, but let's just call this a Thrifty Thursday Video, since it's literally about thrifting.
See you tomorrow! I'm back on schedule!
