This might seem like one of those super obvious tips, but I noticed a lot of women did not keep their make-up bag and/or liquids bag accessible while traveling. This meant that while waiting (angrily) behind them in the security checkpoint, they had to open their suitcase and dig around for where they put their liquids, since they need to be pulled out separately. Why aren't they carrying that in their purse/other carry-on?!
Another travel tip: Even if it's not your normal time of the month, bring your feminine products anyway. Traveling and hopping time zones does weird things to your body, and yes, can interfere with and disrupt your normal menstrual cycle. For some women, this means skipping or delaying their period, and for others, it means suddenly having an unplanned for surprise period. You don't want to be caught off guard. Besides the obvious embarrassment from potential obvious staining, you might find it impossible to find your preferred brand in a foreign country, so just bring your own. It doesn't take up much space, and if you do happen to be surprised, you'll be high-fiving yourself for planning ahead.
Another ANOTHER travel tip: On the same point of getting through security quickly, if you must bring your laptop, like I have to for work reasons, have that in your purse/laptop bag/other carry on too. You will have to pull it out, and you don't want to have to dig through your roller suitcase for that, while everyone is waiting on you. In case you can't tell, I get violently angry at those people who are holding up the line in what is already an infuriating process. Gaaaah.
