I am currently traveling, so this post is probably posting at some bizarre time of night, my apologies. I am tired. Really tired.
But I did want to share a quick, easy travel tip that has saved me a lot of headache, especially when traveling internationally.
If you're like me, you check-in to your flights online, probably through an app. I either have the boarding pass on the home page of the app, or have it texted it to me. Sometimes though, especially overseas where my US phone doesn't always behave, in spite of an international plan/sim card... my phone's app won't open, or I can't open /download the text.
Another tip? Turn up the brightness of your screen. Those scanners have trouble reading the barcode if your screen is too dim. This means you won't have to rescan and rescan and rescan.
Since I'll be flying for 12 hours tonight (which might already be tomorrow, I don't even know what time it is), my post tomorrow will be late. I don't land on the East Coast until late in the afternoon, and I'm probably napping the second I get to the hotel. See you tomorrow!
