Even though I have a personal "ick" factor when it comes to second-hand clothes (in my defense, the thrift shops in my area smell like someone's armpit just lit up a cigarette), I am a HUGE fan of getting new designer clothing at steep discounts, like these Stella McCartney jeans.
I bought those AND other new w/tag designer items for cheap, from The Real Real, which is an online luxur consignment store (it's also where I have sold some of MY things as well, and they have a very generous compensation plan compared to any other consignment store I've ever sold with. I opted for store credit in case you're wondering how I got around my #NoBuy365 shopping ban! I am allowed to use store credit!).
There is even a category that is JUST labeled "New with Tags" if you're like me and want to see just the unworn items, though rest assured that even the items without tags, are authenticated by the staff (no knock-offs!), and have to be in good condition. And unless it's been majorly marked down for a clearance event, you can return it if it's not up to par.
My Thrifty Thursday tip: Grab some designer goods from my favorite online consignment store! Here's my link to sign up. Use my link to create an account to get $25 store credit just for being a new customer (and yes, you can buy something that is exactly $25 and then just pay shipping to receive it, and be done).
I hope all my US friends are recovering well from all that freedom last night, drinking water and nursing their hangovers. Life hack: save your paid days off for the day AFTER major holidays. I always take off November 1st, for example, because it's the day after Halloween, and the kids and I stay up entirely too late.
See you tomorrow! I'll have a video up here, and a NEW video in my private group, Born to be Beautiful (invite only, but let me know if you want in). Later!
