With all this energy and momentum from the new year, I think this is the perfect way to take advantage of the excitement for some change! I mean, let's be honest, that eagerness tends to not last for most of us, so let's use it while we're still feelin' it, right?
I usually add some extras in the blank spaces, or cross out and rewrite ones that don't apply to me (for example, someone without children would not need to "donate unused toys" or "organize toys").
I also don't do these in order. Some days I have more time, some days I have less time, so based on how big or small the task is, tends to determine what I do. Then I just make sure to cross it off so I know I did it already (which is one of the big reasons I print it off, so I can make my big, satisfying "x" mark over completed tasks).
And don't beat yourself up if you don't get it ALL done. Anything you cross off is progress! So just be realistic about what your schedule allows for, and for what does or doesn't matter to you. MY version of "de-cluttered" may look different than YOUR version, and that's okay. Personalize it as needed.
Happy New Year!
