But enough with bashing my sister's delusional soon-to-be-ex. Let's talk about things that suck slightly less than that creepy perv chasing barely-legal girls... which is my latest Stitch Fix Box! (I know, that was a really awkward seque. My whole life feels like an awkward segue right now).
My box wasn't all bad, but it wasn't all good. In the video, I'll show you the actual pieces, and then click "read more" and scroll down to see photos of how they actually fit me and also a list of the product prices, and what I ultimately decided to send back.
Next up is this gingham top. It's the Feena Button Down by Kut From the Kloth for $68, size XS, and it's a Stitch Fix exclusive.
The shirt was fine, I guess. But it looked a bit Polly Anna on me. I don't think I pull off that cute country look very well.
Next is the Calvin Klein pippa chevron knit blazer in blush. This is size XS, and $98. I actually really liked it, but the problem is that it was way too wide in the shoulders. I'm not actually a narrow-shouldered person because I'm athletic and have some muscles there (nothing major, but enough to put me in the normal category for shoulder width in spite of my small bone frame), so this was surprising. Since shoulder width is one of the hardest things to fix/tailor, I had to pass on this. I LOVED that it had pockets. I didn't love the open draping style of it though. Those large triangle-flappies need constant readjustment and don't know how to just stay put. So annoying.
These accessories actually almost convinced me to buy this outfit. Almost.
Unfortunately, I couldn't ignore the fit issues I had with the blazer, the jeans, and also the shoes.
The shoes are a size 6 which are my normal size, but the ankle part is elastic, which is great if you DON'T have teeny tiny super skinny ankles like me.
The elastic was LOOSE on me. And there's no way to tighten to adjust the elastic. And with a loose ankle strap and zero support, I don't see myself strutting around in these heels, though I am now wondering why I don't own a pair of snakeprint heels...
So there's my latest Stitch Fix! If you also subscribe, I'd love to check out what you received! I'm nosy like that.
