You might recognize this yellow cowl-neck sweater that I brought back from Oslo. It's perfect in most ways! It's lightweight but really warm because it's wool, it's yellow, well-fitted, and it has 3/4 sleeves!
But it's got a cowl. And ain't nobody got time for dealing with that floppy wattley nonsense.
I was willing to just deal with the neck-flap-pretending-to-be-a-scarf... until the sweater got a small stain, that then turned into a hole after I tried to clean it.
IT. WAS. RUINED.
....or was it?
I patched over the stain-hole with a star (and then added a couple more, because why not?), and removed that floppy snood from my sweater.
And it only took me about an episode's length of time (I watch shows when I sew, so if it's a sewing project, there's a good chance I'll measure the units of time in TV series episodes).
I like this sweater so much more now.
