You already know that I like Origins products in general (here's my review of their charcoal mask), so I decided to try out another one of their masks, the Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay (available at Sephora for $26).
I only used it twice but I think I like this way more than their charcoal mask! The quality of my skin felt improved in every way. I have no idea what is really meant by "retexturizing" but whatever it is, I like it, and I will be stocking up on this like a crazy skincare version of Y2K. (I swear every time I fall in love with a product, the company discontinues it. I will hoard this like my precious).
Also, this doesn't dry my skin out, in spite of being a clay mask, so I think non-oily skin types can benefit from it as well.
Verdict? Stock up. Or at least get a sample size. Also, the mask is currently included in this value set at Sephora.com, if spending that much on ONE product is not your thing. You can spend a little more to try out a BUNCH of Origins products instead, and get a travel pouch. But the mask itself is very much worth the $26 it costs.
Note: I paid for this product myself and did not receive any compensation or incentives for reviewing it, nor do I receive any kickbacks if you buy it. I just really like this product personally, and I will only recommend something that I think is actually worth buying, even if I'm being paid or received the product for free for the purposes of reviewing. I will also always state if I received the product for free by the company in exchange for a review, or if I'm being compensated in any way, because a dishonest review is worthless to both of us!
