A lot of women would be upset if none of her friends or colleagues noticed that she chopped 6 inches off her hair. Not me, though. My own kids didn't even notice.
But what that says to me is that my hairstyle is still spot on and similar to what I already had, and that visually, I can get away with a medium-length hairstyle (instead of long) and still look the same. I don't NEED all that extra hair to still visually look the same basically. My hair still translates as long, and even though I did get some shorter layers cut in on one side, I look remarkably the same.
I don't need that extra hair dragging me down. It wasn't actually changing my overall appearance in any way.
And it weighed a ton. Good riddance.
Shameless photo-spam time!
And by "photo-spam", I mean like, two photos.
My dramatic 6-inch chop, ended up being very anticlimactic, which is the best possible outcome!
