Here is my sad-that-it's-still-freaking-winter outfit! There isn't much going on in the way of pattern, and the colors themselves are mostly neutral except for my neon laces. This is definitely not a typical color scheme for an outfit. I initially paired this with black ankle boots, but it felt a bit... boring. Super expected, super typical, super "safe". I think the splash of neon takes the whole outfit up a notch. Granted, I wish my Converse weren't polka dot in this outfit, so I'm thinking I should buy a pair of plain, unpatterned Converse shoes, in a very basic black color, since not every outfit needs patterned shoes, I literally only own one pair of "fashion" tennis shoes (as opposed to performance tennis shoes, like my Brooks that I use for running). I think it still works well enough anyway, but I'm starting to feel the pinch of only one pair of casual sneakers.
Here's what I wore:
- Top: Andrew Marc New York faux leather accent thermal top
- Bottom: Rag & Bone skinny jeans with lambskin leather accents
- Shoes: Converse polka dot tennis shoes with neon yellow U-Lace lace replacements
- Accessories: wool scarf I bought from a boutique in Reykjavik whose name I definitely can't pronounce or even spell because Icelandic is a language created by rolling your face across a keyboard
I am so over snow right now.
