I paired it with darkwash denim, a knit crop vest, hot pink shoes, and the clutch I designed myself (and you can get a glimpse of the iridescent blue trench I threw on top of it all because this is me after all, and I love a good "statement" piece). I spent the day with my family at the Family Fun Center (my son recently turned 12), which is a cacophony of tinny music, flashing lights, and sugar. If ritalin were a place, this would be that place.
But at least there was ice cream cake, and it was worth all the gastrointestinal distress of consuming dairy.

FYI, if you missed it, there is a promotion going on right now where you can get a $49 exfoliating mask FREE with a $125 purchase (which isn't that hard to spend, lol). So if there are things you are running low on, or you wanted me to pre-order you one of the new fragrances, this is the perfect time to do it. And yes, I use this exfoliating mask personally. But you only have two more days to take advantage of it, and only 5 more days before the Triple Sizzle "Kudos" for March (30% off) is gone. And I'd take complete advantage of the $99 kit on $324 worth of cosmetics and skincare, personally (and no, you don't have to sell). Sorry to spam you, but a lot of the best deals end up being shared in private groups, and I have enough friends who love the skincare line that I felt like I should mention this to people. (And the $99 kit does get you the exfoliating mask, too, FYI).
But, a photo is worth a thousand words, and this is me without make-up, no filtering, no touching up. In case you're wondering if paying for good skincare really matters. I've always prioritized skincare, and I use a lot of Korean products too, but the exfoliating mask is one of the few American products that has made a visible difference in my skin texture (my pores are far less noticeable, which is a big deal to me as I have oily skin and large pores). But every energy type and skin type will benefit from exfoliating, regardless of age.
Wash your face before you sleep, even if you didn't have make-up on, but ESPECIALLY if you had make-up on. I mean, duh. But I know that sometimes the time slips away from us, we are EXHAUSTED, and crash with a full face on. We're all guilty of this, and anyone who claims otherwise is a liar. I usually wash everything off my face and also brush my teeth, floss, etc. around 9pm so that when I feel like crashing, I can just plop down and get comatose. I mean, unless you're out somewhere actually like having cocktails or something, you don't really need to have your make-up on that late at night. Get prepped for sleep a little early, so that when you're REALLY tired, you don't have to drag yourself to the bathroom to start your pre-bed routine. Just get it done earlier. And if you're out having drinks or staying out late, get some make-up removing face cloths and face-wash wipes so you can just really quick and fast "wash" your face with those. I mean, those aren't as good as using your normal stuff, but it's way better than sleeping in your makeup!
Moisturize. I don't care how oily your skin is, moisturize after washing. If your skin is oily, use a gel-cream moisturizer. I've found it actually helps my skin not overproduce as much oil if I moisturize. If my skin is too dry though (and a lot of facewashes can dry your skin out a little), my oil glands go crazy to compensate for it. Moisturizing keeps it all under control. And obviously it goes without saying that if you have dry skin, you should moisturize, but you're not the people I need to convince!
Our skin is our largest organ (yes, it's an ORGAN, lol), and it is also very very exposed to the elements. Take care of it! And I'm always around on Facebook or Instagram (my links are on the sidebar) if you ever just want me to answer questions or help you out with what types of products I recommend or what specific ingredients to look for in products (and I am loyal to NO brand, I use what works, at all price points, as there are good products for every budget). I've been doing a lot of personal consultations lately and it's been incredibly rewarding! After all, there is no one-size-fits-all beauty regime. So don't be afraid to hit me up, there are no stupid questions, and I really don't mind. I added a button on the side bar of the blog to "Join My Group" where I'm active everyday, and under those are my other social media accounts.
Signing off now, and have an awesome day! I've got videos coming up, tutorials, product reviews (and some guest bloggers!), and some other projects ahead! Thanks for stopping by, and see you tomorrow!
