The weird ways we pose in selfies... No, I'm not showing off my armpits (that's just a lovely bonus, you're welcome). I just wanted to show the cool side details of this cashmere sweater. It's plain and basic in the front, but this is what MAKES the sweater special. I love a good lightweight sweater that can transition through our soggy weather. It's too warm for our bulky wools and knits out here in Seattle, but it's definitely not spring yet. This sweater is Alexander McQueen, another cool modern designer that I heart with all my hearty heartness.
I wore a basic white tank underneath just to contrast and highlight the cool side details. The mint green pants are actually shimmery so they count as an "icy tint" which makes them Type 4 (in the Dressing Your Truth system, which I follow). Just in case you were about to report me to the DYT Police.
Here's a full body shot, with my coat, boots, and handbag.
The coat is Banana Republic, the mint green skinny jeans are from an online boutique based in Los Angeles called Golden Tote, the handbag is Kate Spade, and the leather boots are Jessica Simpson. I'm also wearing a new silver headband I picked up while in San Francisco, at Nordstrom Rack, right near the Marriott downtown where all the meetings were held, and I had time to kill, so you know I didn't leave empty-handed.
Because this is me, you know I have to incorporate a pattern into my outfit; I don't do head-to-toe solids, even if one of the solids (the pants) is sparkly. Doesn't count.
I think this is a great example of how perfectly suited I am as a Type 4/1, not a 4/3 as is being suggested.
I mean, look at me. I'm ADORABLE. Messy ponytail and minimal make-up and all. (I'm wearing black liquid eyeliner, and chapstick. I'm boring like that)
