Those pants? Oh, let's talk about those pants. First off, I did NOT expect them to be that short. I expected ankle-length, not crops. They're 7 for All Mankind, one of my favorite brands, and I bought them new-with-tags on Poshmark... The seller did have a photo of herself modeling them, and they were, I shit you not, full-length pants on her. So I assumed, "Hey, I'm short, she's short, these will be about ankle length." Yes, I asked for her height, for reference on how the pants would fit me, and she is NOT 5'2 like she claimed. I am 5'3, and look at how they fit on me! They are mid-calf! She HAS to be like 4'10 and in extreme denial. But hey, Petite Fashion Tip: Don't wear crops or capris unless you want to LOOK like you're 4'10. My legs look positively stumpy.
The length is definitely not my most flattering, because I think I do look shorter, but I decided to just not fight her on getting a return, and keep them anyway. I like how they fit in the butt and waist, I love the stripes, and these have that nautical flair to them that will work pretty well for the beach (I live two blocks from the beach, and have a view of the water, so I will probably wear these and the length is good for dipping my toes in the water).
So that's me. Wearing styles I don't actually like, like cowl necks and cropped pants! But hey, at least my hair is ON POINT! (And the blue handbag? I've already decided it matches everything I own. Everything. No matter what.)
