I'm skipping Fashion Disaster Friday, so I can post about camping! Ermahgerd people. Camping. Mother f*cking camping. Why does anyone think peeing outside and sleeping on the ground is fun? Who actually enjoys being cold, wet, hungry, and wifi-deprived? And why are there so many damn bugs?
My husband is an Eagle Scout so camping is his thing, but I'm more of a "let's book a suite with a view and our own private hot tub" kind of girl. I am painfully urban, and I admit it. Yes, I did wear heels to camp. Shut up.
I wore a knit hat and sweater dress both from Modcloth (yes, I know the sweater dress is not Type 4 but surviving in the wild trumps fashion). The cashmere scarf is something I bought a long time ago, I think from Zulily.
Never again. Even my Eagle Scout husband said that was way more miserable than he anticipated, and camping with children is the worst. Looks like he has also joined Team Hotel Room, thank god. For the next trip, we're staying in a freakin' Marriott.
