My outfit over this past weekend had warmth and coziness in mind, because it FREAKIN' SNOWED. In past week or so, it was actually 55 degrees Fahrenheit, which means no coat, and now I'm dealing with temperatures barely above the 20s. On the plus side, I have lots of chocolate and wine, to pair with my whine. And my sweater is a handmade sweater made from Icelandic sheep, that I bought in Reykjavik, so it's ridiculously warm.
Here's what I wore:
- Top: 100% wool sweater, handmade by local artisans in Iceland
- Pants: Rag & Bone dark wash skinny jeans
- Shoes: Charles David velvet over-the-knee boots (get them in Shop My Favorites, or click HERE)
- Accessories: Silver headband from Nordstrom Rack, cheap wine, and discounted chocolate (the best accessories ever)
I love a messy side-braid, mostly because I don't have a choice in the matter as my hair had some way-too-choppy layers put in when I got my haircut (*so many tears*), and the makeup was simple. Black eyeliner, brow pencil, concealer. The 'I technically put forth effort, so there' makeup look.
FYI, don't forget to enter the Ipsy/Sephora giveaway! You have plenty of time! (Scroll down a few posts to find it, or click HERE). I've got to run now, because my kids are all off school today, meaning I'm not getting ANYTHING done, so I'll see you tomorrow!
