One of my favorite ways to wear a blazer is to pair it with a t-shirt. There is just something I really like about taking something that is considered kind of formal and dressy, and pairing it with things that are considered casual and maybe even sloppy.
I received the blazer from Stitch Fix and it's one of my favorite pieces. It has shorter sleeves which I think is great for warmer weather, and you can't see it in this photo, but if I cuff the sleeves, the lining is polka dot.
The top is from Elizabeth & Clarke, another great subscription service and one of the few I still use now. It's a basic top but the fit is perfect.
The jeans are the 7 for All Mankind cigarette skinnies which are ankle length on all normal height people. I am wearing them cuffed to achieve that look. I think it helps me look a little taller. I could be lying to myself though.
The aviators are Betsey Johnson (she's a fun designer).
Clutch is Kate Spade. Yes, I know it's cream and black, which is annoying. I did buy a new one just because it started driving me nuts.
The flats are from Modcloth (no longer available for sale) and sadly, they're too big. It is hard to find a good floral that is also Type 4, but these shoes are clearly meant for people with extremely wide feet. The length is fine, but the width is ridiculous. My feet have no issues in regular, B-width shoes, from across all brands, except for these. I wear them anyway because I like them.
FYI, a tangent about my hair... my hair is not highlighted. At all. That is my natural hair in sunlight/good lighting. My stylist was surprised that those were natural. I do not dye or color my hair in anyway, so don't ask me what brand or process my stylist uses. She just cuts my hair and that's it. I'm simple like that.
Back to vacationing now!
