I received it about 4 years ago in a style box of some sort, and I kept it solely because of the color. This was the item that convinced me that I don't need to avoid wearing yellow just because I have golden undertones in my skin.
But I'm finally ready to admit that color isn't quite enough to warrant keeping an item.
I dislike the curved hem, I dislike the length, I dislike the horrible wrinke-prone fabric that makes the dress look like crap in about 3 minutes after putting it on, I hate that the back has a large open slit that doesn't even cool me down that much and isn't even much of a style feature, it has zero stretch and no buttons, clasps or zippers, so it's actually a total pain to even take off and on (I have to pull it off over my head with my arms straight up, like I'm a toddler).
I'm considering pulling out my sewing machine and just hemming it into a tank top, and adding a button/clasp at the back so I can take this thing off and on way easier. It would actually be pretty simple. I really do love this yellow color THAT much. What do you think?
