The top is sheer, and I decided to just embrace it and wear a really pretty bralette. I decided to do the whole exposed bra thing on purpose, and I'm totally comfortable being a bit voyeuristic because I am 1000000% comfortable in my own skin, and really, honestly, it's not even THAT MUCH skin that is showing. It's just a little peek-a-boo of skin. I'm not running around with just a bra on or anything. I'm not THAT crass!
- It is not overly drapey. It has buttons, a collar, and is the cut is a little more form-fitting. It's basically built like a long collared shirt. (WITH POCKETS! *swoon*)
- The curved hem, a style feature I generally hate, actually works well here. It rises up on the side as you can see in the third photo from the left, and that serves to make the long-top look like it doesn't cover as much of my legs, aka gives me the illusion of having longer legs than I actually do!
- How I accessorized this matters. I belted it high, at my natural waist. I normally don't choose wide belts, but this actually effectively served to cover up more of the fabric and break it up so you don't just see a ton of overwhelming turquoise polyester.
- Matching my boots to my faux leather leggings creates a long, uninterrupted line, which also helps my legs look longer, and therefore me look taller. The heel on it helps too for obvious reasons! (This also works with bare legs and nude heels, by the way).
On a totally different note, I think I found my TRUE NEUTRAL LIP COLOR!
Have a great day everyone! I've got videos to record and upload and I think that is something I want to do more of on my blog...
