Here is my long-promised post about K-Beauty products (K-Beauty is the colloquial term for Korean Beauty)! I didn't want it to be a huge, long-winded gush, so I decided to just share the 3 products I use the most, that can be used by pretty much everyone, and are also affordable and easy to find (you can buy all of these on Amazon with usually with free Prime Shipping for $10 or less).
Another favorite that I use is this:
- I can use it UNDER my BB Cream (or foundation if you use that) and it sets it for 24 hours, I am not kidding. Your foundation/BB Cream becomes bullet proof if you use this powder first underneath.
- I can just use a little on my face if I'm just looking a bit too oily and shiny. I use a kabuki brush and just dab it where I need it.
- It replaces facial make-up powder, and is very mattifying as such. (I don't recommend women with tan or dark skin to use this over their foundation or BB cream, as it is white and will look all wrong. But you can definitely use this UNDER to set your foundation or BB cream regardless of skin tone).
- I have even used this in my hair when I forgot my dry shampoo. I use a kabuki brush, dab in the oily spots of my scalp, and brush it through (it is a white powder, so it's important to really really work it in to your scalp and brush away the excess, or you'll look like you're graying). I don't recommend using this instead of a dry shampoo, but in an emergency, it can save the day.
Last but not least, are Korean sheet masks! I can not get enough of them! I buy these:
