I'll be mostly blind in one eye. I get to REGROW the lens of my eyeball, seriously... I mean, it sucks way less to do that than to regrow my freaking cervix (for those of you who are new to my blog, I talked a little about my cervical cancer, and how much FUN that has been to deal with, but I can assure you I'm not dying, and after sending a chunk of my girly-insides to pathology, it turns out everything was not nearly as bad and the first tests were not entirely accurate, and I'm going to be fine, phew!).
This is the closest I have to an OOTD photo, as I'll be once again recovering from surgery and probably blobbing around for a bit. If it's not cervical surgery, it's eyeball surgery. Can't a girl get a break?!
It's just a t-shirt and jeans combo I wore yesterday (I'll be in MUCH sloppier clothing today, as in literal pajamas as I like to nap immediately after eye surgery and it's a great first step in the healing process. And yes, I've had so many eye surgeries, that I have post-eye-surgery routines).
The top is Lularoe and the jeans are Rag & Bone. Not pictured are my fuzzy slippers because I am just glamorous like that.
As I recover from PRK, I won't be wearing any makeup (not allowed to), so if I look extra tired in my OOTD photos, you'll know why! My one eye is going to be all sorts of bloodshot and watery. On the plus side, since I've done this before, I know exactly what to expect. And it's a whole lot of SUCK. And a whole lot of ordering pizza for my kids, who FINALLY went back to school today by the way *angelic chorus*. Not that I can enjoy any of it, since I'll be on weird medication and blind in one eye.
