This is an outfit from last year, when I decided to take my youngest daughter (who was not in school yet) to a cafe with an enclosed play area. I brought my laptop to work, and she could play safely while I semi-ignored her, but in a new place (she's Type 1, novelty is good for her).
Being in an establishment with lots of kids (urgh, my favorite *eyeroll*), I decided to wear these really fun purple shoes with poofball rosettes on them (I love Kate Spade). Of course *I* would think that "3-inch-heels" and "child-friendly" go together. In my world, 3-inch-heels are practically flats. #petitepeopleproblems #Ineedastepstoolformykitchen #andcloset #andtogetintotheminivan #onlykindofkidding
I think I'm mostly recovered from my illness now, though I am still so snotty that I'm pretty sure my brain is leaking out of my nose, but that is the only symptom I am still suffering through, which is a win in my book. The "teatox" is not as easy as advertised, I've discovered (even though you just drink tea, it gets really... uncomfortable *cough*). I don't think I miss coffee, but I really fucking need a beer like... a thing that is really needed. Or something. Yeah.
