God damn it. I wrote out this whole post, then the site flipped out, and I have to rewrite it. It's never the same though, when you try to rewrite something, and I'm just peeved about it all, so you're going to get an inferior version of my post. Gaaaaaahhhh.
The third floor of my house (houses out here tend to be more vertical than not) is surprisingly finicky to heat. It either feels like Antarctica up here, or Mordor. There is no inbetween. Also, Antarctica is what my thermostat thinks 72 degrees F is, and Morder is 73. It's really great.
That brings me to my outfit. It's a sweater dress, because I'm freezing (dress was purchased from Modcloth ages ago). Granted, I remember why I don't really reach for this dress, and it's because even in the smallest size available, it's like wearing drapery, so I had to belt it. Where on earth I found a neon green genuine leather belt, I have no idea, but it doesn't matter, because IT FREAKIN' MATCHES MY NEON GREEN CAMBRIDGE SATCHEL. Neon doesn't really capture well on camera, but I can assure you that it's so bright, it will burn your retinas (that's how you know it's Type 4).
I paired it with basic black tights (navy would have been better but I don't own any) and silver loafers (also from Modcloth).
I did end up changing out my shoes for later in the evening. I decided the silver loafers were just throwing off the outfit somehow. I decided to wear black ankle boots with a chunky heel instead, and I think it's an improvement.
