Other things I've been doing is a LOT more strength training.
I guess the moral of the story is that I should run less, rest more, eat way more chili fries, and keep lifting. Running that many sub-9-minute-miles is a dramatic improvement. 5 months ago, I struggled to hold a 9:15 pace for 10 miles (and by "struggled", I mean, it was not "easy". I could speak, but it wasn't an easy conversational kind of speaking. It was the "I am clearly exercising" kind of speaking, but not the full-blown race-pace type of exertion. But definitely too hard for a training run).
I wish I had taken a better shot of my leggings. They are bad ass. I am squinting so hard because it was actually sunny and I don't like that. I didn't move to Seattle for the sunshine. Make it stop. Send help.
